Vegan BLT Sandwich

This vegan version of a BLT sandwich is just as delicious and satisfying as the original without the cholesterol.

Ingredients

Organic whole grain bread
Lightlife Smart Bacon (or other brand)
Vegenaise (or other brand)
Lettuce (best to use dark leafy salad greens for more nutrients)
Tomato

Directions

– Prepare bacon strips according to package directions
– Toast bread, then spread with Vegenaise
– Layer lettuce, sliced tomato, and bacon slices

Lightlife also makes vegan deli ham and turkey slices which can be replaced for the bacon, or added to make a Club Sandwich. Even add some avocado if you wish.
